Brooklands Racing Circuit, near Weybridge in Surrey, opened on June 17, 1907 and was the first custom-built banked motor race circuit in the world. Brooklands Racing Circuit hosted grand prix racing until the outbreak of World War Two. Today the Brooklands Racing Circuit site is a motoring museum.

Directions:

From London M25 Leave the M25 at junct. 10 and take the A3 south towards Guildford. Leave the A3 at the junction after the M25 exit signposted to Ockham Ripley and Send. At roundabout take the first exit signposted Horsley Towers. Stay on this road passing under a railway bridge and continue for 1.5 miles after Horsley railway station. The entrance is on the left between two gatehouses just after the second parade of shops signposted Horsley Towers.From the South Take the A3 heading North. Exit at the juction after Guildford signposted to Ripley Woking Dorking. At the first roundabout turn right towards West Clandon and Dorking A247 . Continue through West Clandon until you rach a set of traffic lights and turn left onto the A246. Continue on this road going straight across a roundabout at West Horsley. Continue until you reach a left turn with the Duke Of Wellington Pub on the corner. Turn left into East Horsley and the entrance is 100 metres on the right between two gatehouses after the church signposted Horsley Towers.By Train Horsley Station is just 1.5 miles from the property. On weekdays there are two trains every hour from both Waterloo Station and Guildford.By Air Heathrow and Gatwick airports are equidistant from Horsley. Journey times between 25 and 40 minutes depending on traffic.
